Hole Centers is the distance between the centres of the two fixing holes on a cabinet handle. For example, a handle with 128mm Hole Centers has 128mm between its screw holes. This is the key measurement when replacing existing handles.
Measure from the centre of one screw hole to the centre of the other, in millimetres (mm). You can remove your existing handle or measure from the back of the drawer. Don't measure the full length of the handle — always check the Hole Centers size.
Yes, as long as the new handles have the same Hole Centers measurement as your existing ones. The fixing holes should line up, although you'll also want to check that the new handles cover any marks left by the old fittings.
Hole Centers measures the distance between the two fixing holes, while Overall Length is the full length of the handle from end to end. For example, one of our 128mm Hole Centers handles measures 145mm overall. Always check both measurements before ordering.
As a general guide, 96mm handles suit smaller cupboard doors and slim drawers, while 128mm handles work well for standard kitchen drawers. Larger drawers, base cabinets and wardrobe doors may suit 160mm, 192mm or longer handles. The best size depends on your cabinet dimensions and preferred look.
Fixings vary by product. Many handles include mounting screws, but the quantity and length may differ. Please check the product specifications for the screws supplied and make sure they're suitable for the thickness of your cupboard door or drawer front.
Drawer handles are usually centred horizontally. On cupboard doors, handles are typically positioned near the opening edge — towards the bottom corner on wall units and towards the top corner on base cabinets.

Yes, but most cabinet knobs use one fixing hole, while bar handles require two. You may need to drill an additional hole. Check the new handle's Hole Centers measurement and whether the existing hole can be reused before installation.
Count each cupboard door and drawer front. Most require one handle or knob each, although extra-wide drawers may use two. We recommend ordering a few spare handles in case you need replacements later.
Handles in the same finish are designed to have a consistent appearance, but slight colour variations may occur between production batches or natural materials. For the most consistent look, we recommend ordering all the handles you need for your project at the same time.
